Date: Jan 23, 2018

Beyond FAIR - from principles to practice to global join up
13th International Digital Curation Conference (IDCC)
19 - 22 February 2018, Barcelona

With only a week left until the early bird registration closes, now is the time to sign up to attend this year’s IDCC conference!

This year's focus is sharing practical lessons on the efforts made so far to curate data and pursue a digital data commons. The full programme is available at www.dcc.ac.uk/events/idcc18/programme and shows an exciting line-up with three great keynotes, a raft of posters on data service development, demos and bird-of-a-feather sessions. We also have a diverse range of parallel papers covering ethics, measuring FAIR, data reuse studies, national services and DMPs.

.               Professor Sabina Leonelli, University of Exeter
.               Luis Martínez-Uribe, Fundación Juan March
.               Nancy McGovern, Director of Digital Preservation at MIT Libraries

The conference programme is supplemented by a rich programme of workshops, which can be booked independently. Further information about the conference and workshops can be found at www.dcc.ac.uk/events/idcc18/workshops.

To register, please go to www.dcc.ac.uk/events/idcc18/registration. The deadline for bookings is 9 February 2018. Early bird rates are available for DCC Associates until the 27th of January.

We look forward to seeing you in Barcelona!
