Restricted Data Approaches:  Tables
•If information is collected on a census, one way of preserving confidentiality is to only release tables based on a sample. •Regardless of whether the data are a census or sample, the cells in a table should not be "too" small (some agencies require a minimum of 3 entries per cell while others require 5).  This leads to the method of “cell suppression.”
