This
session will address the major global issue of climate change and how data are
used to understanding that issue. The
first two speakers will discuss the challenge and what is known about and how
to improve the data available to understand global change. The second two speakers will discuss two
specific initiatives to build and use data systems to inform the understanding
and opportunities to address global change challenges.
