Problem
oriented systems of data integration and data exchanging may be created in the
structures of Open semi-Direct Communication based on Multimedia Information Centres:
OsDC-MIC. Appropriately structured data resources – D and problem knowledge –
PK are their resources. D resources are documents of primary information
(source documents) in the form of computer files. The ways of creating D
resources are defined by technologies of digitalization, network storing and
flow of documents (scanning, indexing, storing, displaying and archiving). The
structure of PK resources results from the understanding of knowledge as an
interpretation of D resources and representing this interpretation as a
knowledge used and generated in human processes of thinking and decision
making. PK is thus a functional notion, and PK resources are not only
technologies of D resources storing and
an access to problem-oriented information (documents from D resources), but
also they are the state of human mind (the state resulting from interpretation
of D resources), all of them put into a PK scheme (association models) created
by human beings (human factors of VAO technologies). In the virtual environment
of information PK resources may be distinguished, representing the possible
categories of PK schemas, including: HK – human knowledge, TGK- thematic group
knowledge, VOK – virtual organization
knowledge, ISK - information society knowledge.
Mutual
(interactive) exchange of D and PK resources is the basis of a synthesis
of the virtual D&PK networks:
eD&PKN – environment of the various VAO systems. Various structures of
eD&PKN become the virtual information environment. A common information
space is established - a grid environment of network application to integrate
resources D and to obtain PK. We can
speak about virtual systems of subject-related information (personal,
group-related, etc.). Those systems may be used to coordinate partnership and
cooperative activities in the emerging structures of digital activities
organization within the information society.
Examples
of experimental solutions are: a virtual system of personal information, a
virtual system of designers information. Those examples are based on the
concept of creating a portfolio for source documents of personal achievements
and on creating keys to access to information problem oriented (PK-related
information).
