We have finished preparation of digital
catalogs of 26000 direct plates of Golosiiv Plate Archive (GPA). There are three
kinds of its on-line representation. One of them is the list of the plates with
all available information about them from log-books. These catalogs have been prepared
for each telescope and have different formats of data. Due to the completeness of
its data we can efficiently search plates to define orbital elements for such
Solar System bodies as Near Earth Objects and planets' satellites. The catalogs
are available on MAO NAS home page (www.mao.kiev.ua/ast/).
Another form of representation is a standard
format accepted for the Wide-Field Plate Database (WFPDB), which represents the
largest archives of the world astronomical observatories. Catalogs have been
transformed to this format and integrated to WFPDB (www.skyarchive.org).
Third kind of representation is designed to
provide the high efficiency of work with digital plate archive. The special database
DBGPA has been created for such purpose (http://proxy.mao.kiev.ua/ardb/index.php) (Pakuliak L., this
meeting). On-line access to database is provided on inquiry.
The information about the whole plate
collection and methods of its preparing as segment of Ukrainian Virtual
Observatory will be reported.
