We present the services and solutions developed by VO Paris Data Centre for accessing complex theoretical and observational datasets in the Virtual Observatory. We demonstrate the interoperability of applications and data archives achieved by implementing 5 Virtual Observatory standards. Firstly we will present the access to the observational 3D spectroscopic datasets obtained with FLAMES/Giraffe spectrograph at the ESO VLT. We provide an IVOA Simple Spectral Access to request the data and a dedicated tool “VO-Paris Euro3D Client” allowing to visualize and manipulate with these datasets using other VO applications (CDS Aladin and ESA VOSpec) interconnected by the VO application messaging protocol (PLASTIC). In the second part of our presentation we will demonstrate the access to the results of N-body simulations of galaxy mergers (the GalMer project of the HORIZON collaboration), using PLASTIC messages to integrate the archive WEB-interface with 3 VO client applications: TOPCAT, CDS Aladin, ESA VOSpec.
