The database DBGPA V2.0 of the Main Astronomical
Observatory, National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, is organized in the frame of collaboration with Sofia Sky Archive Data Center (Bulgarian Academy of Sciences).
It is created basing on the structure of the Wide-Field Plate Database. The
Internet access to this database allows to select photographic plates from the Golosiiv Plate Archive for a certain astrophysical problem.
The selected negatives were digitized. The procedure of plate scanning is
described as well as formats used for a storage of
scans and image processing. Photometric reductions of instrument data and
accuracy estimations of results are provided with special programs for
interaction with astronomical resources located in the International Virtual
Observatory.
